I was inspired by the mountains in Bavaria near the Neuschwanstein Castle. While I was in Munich, I visited a museum with many of the Blue Rider paintings which also provided inspiration. I was working with the color green and I decided to push it by added a touch of red. This painting is part of my Bavaria series. This painting expresses the peace and harmony I felt while visiting this part of Germany, the home of many of my ancestors.
